Picture Window

About the Picture Window

The aluminum picture window is a fixed window built for the view. With no moving sash, the frame stays slim and the glass stays large, framing mountains, desert or a backyard like a piece of art.

Picture windows are made to order from small accent sizes to large walls of glass, in five frame colors with clear or Low-E glass and optional Switch Lite privacy glass. They are often combined with casement or awning windows for airflow.

Picture Window questions

Can a picture window open?

No. Picture windows are fixed for the largest possible glass. Pair them with casement or awning windows when you want ventilation.

What glass is best for a large picture window in Arizona?

Low-E glass is designed to reduce solar heat while letting in light. We will recommend a coating based on the size and direction of the window.

Can a picture window have privacy glass?

Yes. Switch Lite glass turns from clear to private at the flip of a switch.
