What are the pros and cons of a pivot front door?

Pivot doors allow a wider, taller and more dramatic entry than a hinged door, and the pivot carries the weight so a large panel still opens smoothly. The tradeoffs are that they need more floor space to swing and are a larger investment than a standard door, so we size each one to the entry and how you use it.

Can a pivot door have glass?

Yes. Our aluminum pivot doors are glass doors in a slim frame. You can choose clear glass, Low-E coatings for heat control, satin etch for privacy or custom glass.

Can you add sidelites to a pivot door?
