Aluminum Doors
An aluminum bi fold door folds its panels accordion style to one or both sides, opening almost the entire wall to the outdoors. When fully open, the panels stack neatly at the edge for the widest clear opening of any patio door style.
Bi fold doors are popular for outdoor living rooms, pool areas and kitchens that open onto a patio or bar. Panel layouts such as 3L, 1L2R and 1R2L or bi-parting 4 and 6 panel systems are available, all made to order in slim aluminum with your choice of frame color and glass.
Folding doors stack their panels at the side for a nearly full opening. Sliding doors keep larger glass panels and open part of the wall. If maximum opening matters most, a bi fold is usually the answer.
Yes. Pleated folding screens are made for wide openings like bi fold doors and can be quoted with the door.
They describe how the panels fold. 3L means three panels fold to the left. 1L2R means one panel folds left and two fold right. 4PBP and 6PBP are four and six panel systems that bi-part from the center.
