About the Double Sliding Window

The aluminum double sliding window has two operating sashes so you can open either side of the window. It gives more flexibility for airflow and cleaning than a single slider in the same opening.

Double sliders are made to order in sizes from 36 to 72 inches wide and 24 to 72 inches tall, plus custom sizes, with five frame colors and clear, Low-E or satin etch glass.

What is the difference between a single and double sliding window?

In a single slider one sash moves. In a double slider both sashes move, so you can open either side.

Are double sliders easier to clean?

Yes. Because both sashes move, it is easier to reach both sides of the glass.
